Two Clip Art Collections

danger Clip Art is one of those things that you kind of hate to go searching for on the web.  Clip Art sites are notorious for pop up ads and broken links. Many Clip Art sites are nothing more than a list of other clip art sites and still others are blocked behind school filters.  Your best option, in my opinion is to add just a few clip art collections that you trust to your favorites, and I will give you two to start with today.

The first one is called WP Clip Art and can be found at http://www.wpclipart.com

I liked it because the collection was extensive and the images were high resolution.  The site was easy to search.  It was not free of ads, but the ads were subtle and stayed in one place, at the top of the site.

The second collection is actually maintained for teacher and student use. It was free from advertisements and the images were equally high quality.  It appeared to be less colorful, almost as if the designs were meant to be printed in black and white, then photocopied.  There were collections of Clip Art (Alphabet,  Animals,  etc.) but you could also search the database.  The images were education centered and easy to download. It can be found at http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/cornet_20886_md
