File this one under ‘little to no educational value’ but your kids will love it!
Actually if you recently had a wireless slate or SMART Board delivered this would be a good tool to get the kids comfortable using each of them.
Line rider is a simple yet addictive game. Essentially you draw a line and a little guy on a sled follows it down. (I guess we could stretch here and say we are working on some cause and effects, maybe some physics, but don’t tell the kids that. Just tell them it’s for fun).
You can draw with a different color pens, which makes the line rider accelerate or slow down. Challenge yourself to draw loops, jumps and to keep the line rider going without falling.
There is an excellent (and slightly humorous) tutorial video here but you could probably get started without it.
