Three Typing Activities from ‘Make Use Of’
I just came across a write up about three very good typing sites that are kid friendly. There are hundreds of online typing games and tests available online; I enjoyed the fact that these were very kid-friendly, had little or no advertising and of course were fun.
Keyboarding is a vital skill to learn and the only way to improve is practice. Consider adding one or more of these pages to your classroom computers and find a way to rotate students through as frequently as possible. Add an incentive such as a recording sheet for high/improved scores.
