Starting Thursday, Vote Here and Vote Often For Best Elementary School Crib
A WLKY crew visited Roosevelt Perry on Friday, January 29 to showcase the school’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs. The WLKY crew arrived to Kindergarten through fifth grade student greetings during the school’s Morning Meeting, the Roosevelt Perry Star STEPPERS and the announcement of perfect attendance recognition for January. Following the assembly the WLKY film crew was escorted on a tour of the school by Roosevelt Perry Student Ambassadors. WLKY visited the twenty-first century classrooms, viewed first graders working on creating their robots, and observed fifth grade students teaching teachers after a lesson study. The fifth graders also explained their SMART data storage bracelets to the WLKY visitors.
