On Monday I will be working with a group of teachers on “Teaching With Visual Aids.” We’ll start with the basics of using Picasa 3 to work with photos and cover three photo sharing sites. We’ll learn about several places to get great posters and visual aides online and then move in to making visual aides out of text. We will cover online whiteboards with multiple users and how to use free tools to edit images. I don’t have a presentation prepared but thought I’d share out my links I am planning to use.

Visual aids are so important to learning. They help students make connections and tell stories about their learning. Thanks for all of the great visual aid suggestions!
My pleasure and thanks for the comments too! I think visual aids are great for teaching and also for setting up a warm and caring room as well.
