I need a hand. I am helping a teacher manage ten iPods for teaching and learning, and I am using a free utility called Dropbox for syncing files. We can receive an increased amount of free file storage by referring others to the service.
I would not ask you to do this if the utility wasn’t worth using. I use it for myself all the time, mostly when I want a file to show up on multiple computers. I also will put a file in my Dropbox if I want access it to it on my phone. Even if you aren’t managing multiple computers, it is a great place to back up important items.
Consider your important docs and files sitting on your thumb drive. What would happen to them in the unlikely event that your tablet and thumb drive were lost, stolen, or damaged in a natural disaster at the same time? Online is the way to go!
