Add a simple clock to your desktop in about three clicks. You’ll enjoy being able to see the time at a glance.
This is what my desktop looks like with no clock. Boring, right?
So simply right-click on any empty space on the desktop. Select Gadgets.
In the Gadget menu, choose the clock. it’s the one that looks like a picture of a clock.
The clock Gadget is now on your desktop. Isn’t that nice?
You can customize the look of the clock by selecting the little gear icon. Mouse over the clock and the translucent menu will appear to the top and right of the clock. You’ll see different styles of clocks to choose from.
Some additional comments:
1. This works on Windows 7, not Windows XP. If you are still running XP I recommend having your machine imaged, it will be returned with Windows 7. You will be happy you did.
2. How great would it be if all the teachers in the building were looking at the same clock? Your clocks get the time from the same source so they will be synced up.
3. You can add other Gadgets such as the weather and a calendar using the same steps.
4. Studying other parts of the country? Set up multiple clocks on your desktop and set them for other time zones.
